10pk 1/4x1-1/2 Shear Pin Cotter

These pins are approximately 1-1/2" long and 1/4" in diameter. They have a plain round head with no bolt or screwdriver slot. There are milled grooves look as though they are intended to shear on a 5/8" shaft. There is a hole for a cotter pin approximately 1/4" from the end of the pin. The package contains ten shear pins and NO cotter pins needed to secure them. BRjr 2.2.11

MTD turns out several brand label snow blower machines that use this pin. As of model year 2012, we learned that there is a LONGER version of this same pin. The short pin is the most popular, but we have see a growning number of customers requiring the longer one. BRjr 02.13.14
