A hand mower usually has four or five spiral blades mounted in a drum arrangement. These blades cut against a stationary bar much like a scissor blades cut against each other. When the bar and blades wear and become dull, or when the bar goes out of alignment, the grass cut becomes uneven or irregular with grass blades left standing or cut at odd heights.

20" cutting width. Finger tip control, quick snap height adjusters. Easy-roll dual wheel tracking action eliminates drag and enhances manuverability. Cutting height changes from 1" to 3" to meet mowing needs. 10" composite front wheels with radial tread tires, 6" rear tracking wheels. Heat-treated blades with a welded reel hood. Handle is a loop style with foam grip. Color: Scotts classic green.
