21' MidWest Roof Rake Aluminum

This is a 21' sectional aluminum Roof Rake by Seymour Midwest Rake.

There are four aluminum tube sections that fit into one another. A punch button secures the sections and permits easy disassembly for storage.

This unit comes in a box. It must be assembled. You will need a screwdriver and a 7/16" open end wrench. Sometimes two wrenches are needed. Follow the munfacturer's assembly instructions. From a practical hardware store perspective, "snug" the nuts and bolts; don't over torque and twist them off. The blade unit should be loosely hand-assembled first. Don't use tools until all the fasteners are installed. Once it's assembled, then use tools to snug everything up.

Assembly is available on an over-night basis. No assembly work is done while you wait. There is a charge for this service.

The Seymour Midwest Roof rake is manufactured in the United States using quality materials. It will provide you with years of service, but will be quickly destroyed if abused or mis-used. It is a SNOW rake. It is not an ICE CHOPPER. This tool will break if you attempt to chop ice dams. Remove snow as soon as possible. Once it acquires an icy crust or freezes into ice, the snow rake will not work.

There are numerous U-TUBE videos on how to us a roof rake. In general, the idea is to remove snow from the gutter up as far as you can reach. Stay away from electrical lines. You can be electrocuted. Watch out for icicles. These can kill you.

Round's often sells roof rakes during storm emergencies. During these times we secure extra inventory to have available when you need it. As this inventory is way beyond what we would normally carry or sell, and as our vendors will not take returns on excess inventory, we do not accept returns for storm emergency items such as roof rakes.
